All in-stock items are shipped at time of order; out-of-stock items will be placed on backorder and customer will be notified. All backorder items will be shipped at the time the product becomes available. If backorder period exceeds 30 days, we will notify the customer prior to shipment release. In the event of partial shipment, each shipment will be billed separately. Backorders are shipped at prices in effect when the item was ordered.

Ordering out of stock items
There are a lot of items that sell out before we even get the inventory in stock. The ability to order from items that are not currently stocked will allow the customer access. We will do everything we can to keep you notified of the approximate ship date of the out of stock item that you ordered. These sometimes change due to various reasons.

We ship to you for free, that’s right – for free! If you need to send anything back you must pay the shipping and we will ship back to you for free!

Shipping with Insurance
We recommend that you add insurance in the event of loss or damage from USPS. Adventure Knives will provide you a copy of the insurance receipt by email for your records. If you need to file a claim it is your responsibility and Adventure Knives will provide any necessary information upon request, only to the buyer or the USPS. Once Adventure Knives delivers your order to the post office which from this point, by clicking free shipping, you agree that Adventure Knives is not responsible for loss or damage and the customer assumes possession when the order is delivered to the USPS. After 10 business days after the date of mailing your order, if Adventure Knives does not receive correspondence from the buyer about filing an insurance claim, Adventure Knives is not responsible for retaining the original insurance receipt of your order from the USPS.

All warranties for products purchased through Adventure Knife are provided by the respective manufacturers. We will be glad to help you with submitting any issues, claims and questions concerning product warranties directly to the manufacturers.

Limitation of liability
Under no circumstances shall Adventure Knives or any other party involved in creating, distributing, or supplying products for Adventure Knives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from products purchased from Adventure Knives, the use or inability to use the site, the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, statements or conduct of any third party on the site. You hereby acknowledge that this paragraph shall apply to all content, merchandise, and services available through the Web site. In the event that your state does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for damages, in such states liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

International Orders (Outside of the United States)
Due to the overwhelming amount of international credit card fraud, we are unable to accept international credit cards unless your card is up-to-date with correct address and it clears our merchant credit card tracking system. We will accept PayPal for orders outside of the United States.

The majority of the items displayed in the store “Ship Next Business Day”. The order will be filled upon receipt and will be shipped the following business day for you. We will obtain a tracking number for you ASAP. There are times when the item ships before we update you on the tracking number. However, we will get this number to you for your convenience as soon as we obtain it. If you need something immediately that is in stock but also want something that is backordered, please place separate orders for these items so that we will receive payment to cover the separate shipping. Otherwise, we will ship all of the items together when they come available.

Adventure Knife company wants you to be completely satisfied with your Adventure Knife purchase. If you are unhappy with a knife you bought from us, then please don’t hesitate to let us know. We will do what we can to fix any problems. If you find that you need to return an knife, all of our knives and products are backed by our exclusive Adventure Knife Guarantee. Products and knives may be returned within 15 days of the ship date for a full refund if the fowling conditions are meet. You must file a claim on our website. Click here to start a claim. Adventure Knife will determine if you are eligable for a refund. If you are eligable Adventure Knife will send you a prepaid label to mail your knife back to us. Upon Adventure Knife recieving your knife we will inspect your knife and determine if your return meets our return guidlines. If your knife meets our guidlines then you will recieve a full refund of the origional amount that you paid.
While most knives or items are returnable, returns are subject to the following guidelines.
Proper Conditions for Return and Refund
We cannot refund returns for certain items, including:
Any knife or any item that does not have the origional recipt.
Any knife or any item that is returned more than 15 days from ship date.
Any knife or any item that is not in its new/original condition.
Any knife or any item that is damaged, missing parts, original accessories or manuals, etc.
Any knife or any item not in the original manufacturers box.
Any knife or any item that has been personalized or engraved.

For Defective, Damaged or Misshipped Items
Adventure Knives will pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturers defect or our error. For all other items, shipping and handling costs will not be refunded. Defective products are eligible for credit or replacement within 30 days of customer invoice date. Replacements will be shipped upon receipt of defective merchandise via ground shipment at the expense of Adventure Knives. Before sending the product back you must first submit a claim on our web site and you receive further instructions. Packages must have RA number written visibly on shipping box with a brief description of the product defect inside. All items must be returned in the original packaging. Please contact us at support@AdventureKnives.com to get the RA number and instructions. Adventure Knife does not handle repairs.

Refusing Delivery
If you refuse a delivery from Adventure knife for whatever reason, the package will be returned to us. Once return is processed, you will receive a full refund minus shipping.

Return Shipping Method
For your protection, please send your return prepaid via a shipping service that can be tracked, such as UPS or USPS with Delivery Confirmation. Please be sure to keep your receipt and tracking number. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-trackable method. All you will need to do is simply contact our customer service to confirm your address has not changed and to inform us that you knife is on the way and you will receive specific shipping instructions. You will also have to enclose a money order (NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECK) for $5.00 for first knife and $2.50 for each additional knife, to cover handling and return shipping charges. For your protection, please send your return prepaid via a shipping service that can be tracked, such as UPS or USPS with Delivery Confirmation. Please be sure to keep your receipt and tracking number. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-trackable method.

Issuing Refunds
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 business days of our receiving your return. If refund cannot be issued to your credit card (due to expired card), a check will be issued.
